The story revolves around a young man
named Jeetu (played by Shahid Kapoor), who is drowning in debt due to

mistaken for a rich businessman due to a series of comedic misunderstandings.
The fisherman takes Jeetu to the mansion of Prabhat Singh (played by Suniel
Shetty), a wealthy businessman who is looking for a suitable groom for his
mentally challenged sister, Shruti (played by Kareena Kapoor Khan).
To avoid revealing his true identity,
Jeetu pretends to be mute and deaf. He becomes entangled in a web of hilarious
situations as he tries to maintain his ruse while navigating the eccentricities
of Prabhat Singh's family. Meanwhile, Jeetu falls in love with Prabhat Singh's
other sister, Meenakshi (played by Neha Dhupia), adding further complications
to his already complicated life.
The film is a lighthearted comedy filled
with mistaken identities, misunderstandings, and humorous situations. It
explores themes of love, family, and the power of honesty.
